What do you all think about Steve Irwin Croc Hunter Death2007-11-24 2:03:26Answers:

It's sad. I feel so bad for his family. And the conservation efforts he made. His girl was only 8 and the boy was only 3. To think of these kids growing up without a Dad. And he was so young! He was only 44. Younger than me! It's so terrible what happened.

I heard he was swimming on top of a sting ray when it shot its barb into him. They normally do this when they feel threatened so it could have been another fish or something that swam in front of it to make it feel cornered.

I wonder what will happen now? If his wife will continue his conservation efforts, the t.v. show or drop it and let someone else pick it up.

It was really unfortunate but maybe that is how he was supposed to die. Who knows?? Only God knows.
Very sad, He was always so enjoyable to watch, always so full of energy.may he rest in peace.
he was a very likeable guy, but he just pressed his luck too many times. it was going to happen eventually and i think that most people thought this.
they want to give him a world wide funeral
I think it would have made a better story if it was something a bit more drastic but it still is very sad. He had a wife and 2 kids which is extremely sad to know that they will have to go on with that hole in there lives.
I think it's a tragic accident and he will be missed by thousands. R.I.P Steve Irwin x
Of course it is sad. But no one ever knows when your time will come. He will always be remembered and loved.
Give it a rest already. All you people keep bringing him up in Yahoo Q & A let him rest in peace already!
I think he died doing what he loved, so in that respect I can only hope to do the same. I feel very saddened by his death though & I think we lost a wonderful educator, conservationist, and all around animal lover.
I feel so sorry for his wife and family. He had two kids, and I think it is very sad. I think they said they got the whole thing on tape, too.
He died doing what he loved and how many of us will have the chance to do that? Interesting that it was a freak accident and not a horrible death everyone saw coming (crocodile/shark/snake attack). Still, it's sad to lose someone so devoted to conservation.
I think alot of things. When it's your time to go, there's not much arguing with the one who called you home.
