Personally i dont like anything with legs but if you wave a snake in front of my face, you can count on me going into cardiac arrest.

It's the age old fear that nature installed in us when humans when we were among the other animals in the forest, jungles, deserts, Savannah's etc.It's a protection device or safety feature nature gave u which cause animals and humans to immediately sense fear when one is near. The idea of a poisonous death is more distressing to us.

Mos tof us have been told over and over all of our childhood years until we developed wholesome fear of all snakes,

In the Christian faith the snake is the devil, that's starters , with exceptions ( some Christians use snakes in the prayers ( like the middle portions of America ) and Hindus who treat them as God like.The snake crawls and is not noticeable at eye level, hiding in creeks and undergrowth and is poisonous.The cobra among others are deadly.I dislike them personally because it personifies the devil in Genesis.The Chinese in Hong Kong/China/Vietnam/Cambodia/La.
