I live right next to the woods and the rain frogs kept me awake all night last night. I wanted to scream!! Why do they make noise like that? It sounds like there are a million of them!
Answers:Its so they can locate a mate, its a mating call.
They can fill their throats with air and blow it up like a balloon creating a bigger deeper noise and the noise carries very far.
That is how frogs throw their voices,so they sound like they are somewhere they arent so preditors cant find them.
