Why dont people like snakes
1 of the reasons is beacuse alot of people are christian and if you have ever heard the story of Adam and Eve that gives you the answer, and now the majority of the christian population thinks that snake are evil. In my opinion they are the second cutest animals (horses are first lol)! I am even hoping to get a ball python!
Cause they sneak onto airplanes and start KILLING!
I LOVE snakes, they keep the vermine population down and the bigger snakes are known to eat CATS!

i think most people don't like snakes because t.v makes snakes look like evil slimey killers, even though most are very quite smooth and shiny not slimy. i myself enjoy havig pet snakes cause the are soo graceful and quiet, not much 2 clean up after and quite fun to handle.
I'm not even sure why I don't like snakes.. I guess it all has to do with how you were raised and your childhood experiences. Just the word "snake" makes me want to toss my cookies. Plus making movies like "cakes on a plane" makes it harder for us to find them cute on a day to day basis.

Because they know nothing about them. Fear of snakes comes from ignorance. They perceive every snake as a dangerous thing because they don't know the difference between the dangerous ones and the harmless ones. Never mind the fact that you're more likely to be killed by the diseases of the rodents that the snakes eat than by the snake.
Some people are unfimilar with the animal so they expect the worst ;; it`s kind of like when a rotweiler starts runnin at you & you think you`re about to die ;; & Then the doq licks your face ;; you just have to show some people that they shouldn`t be afraid of them ;; You have to learn to love everythinq once in a while ;; i also have a corn snake ;; mine is a snow corn snake ;; he always looks like he`s qoin to bite ;; But he never does. it is the way people are raised and how snakes are introduced to them, my two daughters have snakes and some of their friends are scared of them til they see them with one and after awhile they will hold one. I have some brightly colored snakes and when people first see them they want to know if the are poisonous because of their colors.they are told brightly colored snakes by their parents are poisonous and I have to explain to them about the eastern coral snake
I really like snakes, but I think some people hear the word snake and think of King Cobras biting them, or going on planes and snakes killing them. Movies and TV shows give snakes bad names, which isn't fair. Pet snakes are perfectly fine!
