Why doesnt my turtle eat his food? and aanother questions do i have to wash his shell?

if its a little turtle probaly he eats it you just don's see him.

Maybe he's not hungry or doesn't like the food you're giving him. Have you seen a vet recently? I would definatelty go see a vet if he continues not to eat his food. Thats not good. Does he at least drink water or something? In answer to your other question: No. You do not need to clean his shell, unless of course you want to.

Reptiles (generally) don't eat as much as mammal/birds of the same weight. At any pet shop they should be able to advise you on proper care. Any and all pets should be kept clean.

My turtles didn麓t eat their food so i put them in my hand and put them the food near the mouth till they ate it and that worked and u can clean his shell if u like to but please b careful with it if u do it

Turtles are not easy pets to keep. If anything is wrong in their enclosure it can throw them off and they wont eat. They need special temperatures, lighting, food, a certain enclosure size and setup depending on the species of turtle. Your best bet would be to find out exactly what kind of turtle you have and read up on the specific care of that turtle. turtles are weird like that i have one who lived with gold \fish in his tank for over a year and one day ate them. hey can be strange sometimes if i were you i would monitor how much you feed it to make sure it not to much if he doesn't stat eating soon you'll have to take him to a vet as far as the shell goes if you don't use soap you can "watch" it i usually just stick my turtle in the bathroom sink turn on the water and GENTLY rub the shell with my hand you have to becareful their shells are sensittive-good luck
