Would any one recommend getting either a Sinaloan Milksnake or a California Kingsnake2007-11-24 2:04:58

i want either or both. anybody with extensive experience with these animals can help. please email me at jackhavok777@yahoo.com

i would go with a green snake, actually, because you have to feed milk/king snakes mice, and the green snake just eats bugs. but that's my preference. also, green snakes won't poop on you, while milk/king snakes might.

u should get a Sinaloan Milksnake because they r less dangerous, even if they are domestic, a Kingsnake will still bite and it hurts.

I have a Cali king. He's never bitten me or shown any aggressiveness towards me or any other person and I've had him since he was a hatchling. Also Cali kings come in a lot of different patterns and colors. I've never owned a sinaloan but I do have a pueblan milk. I like him too. Get whatever you like.

Either or both are a great choice. They come from the same family(lampropeltis)and are very similar in their nature, personality & needs. One thing you must keep in mind, they must NEVER be housed with another snake as both of these snakes are snake eaters.

Both are a real good candidate for a great pet. But I went with the sinaloan personally. More vibrantly colored. And any animal on this big blue marble called earth can bite. If it has a mouth, it will bite. In experience though corn and king snakes can bite more frequently.
