Getting their home set up can be expensive but they are fairly low maintenance pets after that. They make terrific pets too! I have 3 adults, raised from babies.

Check out www. reptileauctions.com. They also have classified ads. Just a hint, rabbt pellets make great bedding. It absorbs lizard poo/pee for easy clean up. It doesn't cost bunches of bucks either. I would advice not using reptile sand. They eat running crickets and often swallow some of the bedding material. Sand, even reptile sand, can impact a beardie leading to death especially young lizards. Good luck!

Ours were quite expensive as babies (almost $90 each) but it depends on how many are available I guess. Now they are about $40 each.
