do you have to take peel off of apple before feeding it to a iguana?

Answers:

no theres good vitamins in the skin. just think, in the wild, theres no one to peel it for him, so hes good.

Actually, mine prefers apple sauce.
No, just rinse it buy you will need to chop pieces off so he can eat it and the seeds can be harmful.
Yes, I would. And make sure you cut it up well too. Iguanas can choke if the chunks are too big. There are better foods to feed Iggys though, like greens. NO Meat! I highly recommend picking up a copy of "Green Iguana鈥擳he Ultimate Owner's Manual" by James W. Hatfield III.

My boy is now 22 lbs, and 7.6 feet from snout to tip of his tail. I have relied heavily on the advice of James W Hatfield for the 6 years of his life. It was highly recommended by my herp vet!

Good luck!

Skin is just fine and contains alot of nutrients, I prefer to grade this type of food like with a cheese grater with the larger grade.
Unpeeling the apple would be best.

My iguana loves cooked beans.

No, but don't feed them the seeds.
