I heard that this iguana a pet of some people got loose by the river close tio Blythe California, there is lots of green plant out there and water i could see it living through the summer months And i heard it lived through the winter too! but these people still see it once in awhile wandering around but its to hard to catch it. My question is how did it survive the winter is there a special place they go thats warm for them lke dig burrows?or what?
Answers:well animals are very adaptive..it must have found somewhere ..maybe in a hollowed out tee trunk or under some wood or it could have found a hole in the ground..at least it is an iguana, and not some huge meat eater like a monitor of some sort ..
