You might want to seriously consider, whether or not you have room for another iguana, much less breeding them. The reason I say this is because iguanas are territorial when they are not in breeding season and can get very aggressive towards eachother and can be very harmful to one another. If you don't have the room to keep them separated, then it might not be a good idea to get another one. You're just gonna have to deal with the 6 weeks or so every year that he is this way. Another alternative is to get him a doll. Something that looks like another iguana for him to play with during breeding season. I've also hear of people making them by stuffing a green sock and letting him get busy on that.

Green iguanas can be difficult to breed in captivity because all the necessary environmental cues are rarely provided. No it is not. They a very large cage for this. From what I have read it is a big hassle unless you live in a mild climate area and have the space for large outdoor cages.
