I am always the one who feed my little turtle"not water turle but ground one".

so i traveled for five days and my mom was trying to feed it but it refuses.

it looks at her as it is trying to recognize her but it can't so it did not eat.

is that cause it is not me who is feeding it?

can the turtle recognize the person who is looking after it?

can it recognize me?

answer me who really sure of the answer.serious answers please.

Yes, turtles can reconize their care giver. Mine come running when they see me, they know I have food.

Yes they can recognize you. Every animal has a way of recognizing certain things, including humans. Whether it be by touch, smell, or hearing, they can recognize more than you think.

This may be a Tortoise, and not a Turtle. Tortoise are notorious for falling in love. Yes, your Tortoise knows you and Trusts you. I think he in love and is sad when you not there and worries for you. He will be OK when you return. This "IS" a serious answer!

Papeversomniferum seems to be Freaking out. Just be careful and not give out your real name, address, phone number etc. Also, be aware of what you say in normal conversation with people. An experienced "Weirdo" knows how to word questions to get information. I have to tell my Mother all the time about phone solicitors trying to finagle information from her, they are "Slick".

They can associate you with food, but that in itself does not usually interfere with the eating. unless you also trained them that food is always presented at a certain time in a certain place or something.
