What kind of lettuce are you feeding her? If your feeding her iceburg lettuce you need to stop. Iceburg lettuce is not healthy for her. As far as her tank goes,research her natural habitat and make her tank as close to that as possible. Don't put any outside rocks or wood unless it has been washed in a mild bleach 10 part water 1 part bleach. Let thm air dry on a plastic bag in a room other than thay in whitch your tortiose residesfor 5 to 7 days. If it still smells like bleach after that time rinse it in warm pure water and allow it to air dry agaian. I hope thi was of adequate assistance to you. Best of luck to you and her.
no, but don't get alarmed. He was probably given too much fruit. People like fruit more than vegtable so they tend to give tortoises more fruit then veggies. However, you should be giving him 75% veggies and 25% fruit. Give it a few days on a better diet and see how he does, if it contiues call the place you purchased him or call a vet that treats tortoises'.
Runny poo is not normal, but common for new pets going through acclimitization.
Make sure you are offering the right diet (http://www.petdoc.ws/tortdiet.html). and basic cares (see below). If it does not clear up in a week or so, try something more active.

if you just bought it it's probly stress of being moved or it was fed to much fruit, i feed mine lettuce, dandillion leaves, grass natural things are best but always check on internet as toroises can be poisioned by some plants, you can feed it fruit every now and then as a treat, you should give it food high in calcium, in my vivarium i put a cuttle fish bone in it's high in calcium and if the tortoise feels it needs a calcium boost they will have a nibble on it, it also helps the beek. in the vivarium you can put wood chipping in, logs, artificle plants rocks, tortoises love to roam about and climb.
