my turtle is acting weird2007-11-24 2:01:50

ok so my turtle is acting really weird like a couple days ago i found my turtle standing on top of my tree which was a small BONSAI tree for a fish tank and he climed that tree. i think the turtle doesnt like me. what should i do? help=[

oooook well its not weird, they like to be on top of things esp. if its out of the water at times. And why would that have anything to do with not liking u? Personally i dont think turtles can really show enough to say that

you know what, it's mating season for turtles. Don't worry about it at all. He loves you, I'm sure. he is just trying to get out to find a mate. Good luck

not too many people realize is that turtles are climbers, they can climb fences etc. think of all the rocks and things they need to climb over, just be careful they are good escape artists!!

Please read up on your turtle and learn as much as you can about it. A good place to start is http://www.austinsturtlepage.com.

It might be trying to bask- turtles NEED to get out of the water and sun themselves.

It might be trying to escape. They do this, especially if the tank is small.

It might be trying to warm up if the water is too cold, or get out of the water if it is too dirty.
