my 10mth old spotted python is shedding his skin, i didnt see any indication of the shed (cloudy eyes, aggressive) I just noticed the skin coming away, It apears to be coming away in peices should i leave him be or do somthing to help. I also wanted to know if i should still feed him as he is due to be feed tomorrow but his skin is only part way off?

www.repticzone.com will help out a lot with stuff like this. There is a forum for all different kinds of snakes, and the people there are really nice. If you ask questions there, expect to get SEVERAL replies quickly answering any and ALL of your questions. They also have care sheets and more information there as well.

i'd feed him like normal and let him shed by himself. maybe you can find some websites on snake care to help you better learn about what to expect with him.
Wait a day or two to feed him its not going to hurt him. Also let him shed on his own. Just make sure there is large enough water bowl for him that will help him shed. If you decide to feed him knock out the mouse first
Just let it shead. You can always put food out, you can always put away if it does not eat it.I guess :]
no you shouldnt feed him for one thing,he is shedding and you should leave him alone and let him shed his skin.and for another thing is his belly pink?and you say that his eyes are not glossy?this doesnt matter if it is not glossy.my pet python done this one time on me and didnt look glossy though when i gave him his rat he didnt eat it.so chances are if you do give him his mouse or rat than chances are he wont eat it.and if it is alive it will fight the python and he will be scratched up.so please do not give him no food until he sheds.i hope you work out with you r pet python!
