i have just bought the substrate heater of exo terra 16 watts and it doesnt has a manual inside so if you know to what temperatures it heat please help me.

You heater will stay as hot as it can get unless you regulate it with a thermostat. This device controls how hot your enviroment can get to and you adjust it for different animals. Check out the rating on the thermostat but most start at a rating of 100 wats maximum.


You mean and under tank heater? It depends on what reptile you have in there. Different reps need different heat. I suggest you go to walmart or your local pet store and buy and inexpensive thermometer. The kind that sticks to the glass of the tank. It costs around 3 dollars. Than monitor it untl you get the proper temp.

The kind of reptile you have will greatly alter the correct answer to your question. In any case, you will need a thermostat to manage the temperature of any heating device, as nearly all of them get to hot for most herps.
