Dog - I love reptiles but dogs are able to bond & show affection to their owners unlike any reptile.

Plus Iguanas require speical care that most people either can not or will not provide.

If you don't know, I suggest you don't get either.

An iguana is something to look at, a dog is something you 'marry'. (I don't mean it that way, ladies.) You have to bond and play and do things with a dog. IF you don't, it's not your dog. One is an accessory, the other is a responsibility.

depends how much money, free time, living space, etc etc etc you have. Iguanas do make good pets. they are fairly low maintaince. dogs are huge responsibilites but make great companions and a lot of fun, but tons of work. If you have the money and time, go for a dog.

Depends what sort of attention you can pay to a pet. An iquana is much less maitenence. If you aren't home a lot, and would need someone to talk the dog, or feed the dog for you, it can be problematic.
