If the little creature came from the wild he belongs in the wild. Ask your bro why he brought it home where he got it and take the poor thing back.

Turtle does not deserve to be locked up in some cage when it was just fine in the wild.

It's what I really think.

Hi you can help her the best by keeping her water clean from polution from the food & making sure she's got the adiquate housing for a turtle *this is assuming he got it from a pet store & not out of the wild*.go to a pet store & get the correct food for it & buy yourself a book while in the pet store for hints & tips on keeping turtles.

If however he got it from the wild which he really as no business to do then the creature should be taken to where it was found or another same type of turtle populated area & released.Regards Jake

Before you even begin administering anything that these people reccomend, find out what kind of species of turtle it is. Put the animal in a box, dont worry about food, unlike most animals, turtles and tortoises can go a long time without food or water. DON'T put plants inside the cage, many house plants are poisonous, and if this is a tortoise it may eat it as tortoises are herbivores (plant eater). Release it back to the wild SOON! It is really hard to care for wild turtles well- they just never do as well as captive-bred turtles will.

If you decide to keep it, be aware that it can easily cost $100-200 to make a good set-up to keep it in if you need to get everything from scratch.
