um, my iguana wont stop having diarrhea while drinking water, but he never has leaky butt other time2007-11-24 2:02:53Answers:

Many lizards and tortoises go potty and drink at the same time. It's a water conservation thing. If they were in the wild without water they would wait to go to help slow dehydration. Iguanas just have runny poo like giant birds so does my tortoise but he stinks more.

this is normal its nothing to worry about UNLESS if goes on for 5 more days then u should visit a vet good luck
iggys potty train themselvs to go in water.. most of them anyhow. mine doesnt but most of them do.. now my savanna monitor goes it its water.. just make sure you clean out the water often
Like most lizards they will "go" in their water bowls which makes it hard to tell consistency. You can actually train them to do this by frequent baths. However, you must make sure (remove water after a feeding) that they don't have loose bowels. An iguana's excrement should look like this: a semi hard terd, followed by a white ending (proof of proper calcium intake) mucus and urine puddle. If your iguana's does not look this way you need to adjust calcium levels and examine for proper diet.
probably too much fruit or something isn,t agreeing with it, check and see what you give it that was new or excessive amounts.yeah they like to poop in water
