What do you do about your iguanas when you go on a two day trip? i usually bring my one with me and leave the other to a sitter but i can,t this time.

Answers:

Leave them both with a sitter. If that person can care for one why not two. You could try boarding kennel they might help you out.

aaahhhhh, how 'bout leaving both with a sitter??
In the yellow pages there are hundreds of folks who would love to come and take care your pets. Look under "Petsitters".
Leave plenty of food/water and lock the door on your way out
Hire a high school girl to come by once or twice a day and take care of them. That is what I do with my outdoor cat. There is a pet sitters business in most ever town these days, too.
Put a bunch of food in the cage!
If your only going to be gone for 2 days, then your iguana should be fine. Remember that they are reptiles and can go longer without food. Because reptiles have cold blood, they rely on the sun or heat lamp for heat, unlike us humans who have to consume food, which will be broken down into energy or heat. As long as they have a lamp, water, and are well fed before you leave, they should be fine.
