This really depends on the type of lizard. Most are insectivourous. Mealworms are probably a good bet. You might also try grapes, apricots, peaches or another soft fruit.
It may be an insectivore or a herbivore, depends on the type of lizard. I would try it with both (crickets or meal worms and banana). You need to remember to spray it's surroundings to ensure it drinks properly, it would most likely like to be misted.
Word of caution, lots of lizards harbour salmonella, and we can catch it from them so wash your hands very well after handling the lizard or things from its environment.
Hmm, if you've washed your hands nice and clean, and it really is a teensy lizard as you say..
Feed it a finger tip. Really, let it bite or nip your finger..if its teeth are *sharp* it is likely an insect eater, but if its bite feels dull, or its teeth like blunt nubs or pegs, it likely eats little bits of fruit and leaf.or you can take the dull, boring and sanitary way out just by a) getting it to open its mouth so you can see its teeth, or b) just alternate feeding it mealworms and wee bits of fruit until it bites something..
