what is the difference between a caymen an alligator and a crocodile2007-11-24 2:03:37Answers:

alligators and caymans are closely related the main difference being the armor plating on thier bellies, the cayman has stronger plates, as for crocks and alligators, The crocodile鈥檚 head tends to run to a very narrow breadth from the eyes to the nostrils and the general color throughout the body and head is grayish. The alligator鈥檚 head is somewhat broadened at the snout. The head of the cayman is more like that of the alligator but is not so broad. Alligators and caymans are greenish-black in general coloration. The crocodile is the only one of the three that is found mainly in salt water.

One bites you in the head.

Next one bites off your arms.

Last one, bites you between your legs.

por lo que tengo entendido el caiman es m谩s peque帽o que el cocodrilo y el aligator en de la familia de los caimanes y el lugar donde vive es Florida EE.UU.
They are in different taxonomic families, so there are several differences. The most commonly known one is that crocs have pointed snouts/jaws (V shaped) while gators' are more rounded (U shaped). The teeth in the lower jaw are exposed in crocs but sheathed in gators. Crocs also have a salt gland that enables them to tolerate more marine habitats. There are SEVERAL species of crocodile found all over the world, while the only species of alligator are the american and chinese (VERY endangered). Caiman resemble crocodiles but are more closely related to gators, and there are also gharial which are a family of their own.
Caymen are a smaller subspecies of an alligator , an alligator is a freshwater animal shorter &stockier head/mouth ,a crocodile is can be a saltwater animal and or fresh water and a very long /skinny head
all closely related forget all the long definitions, am just gonna make it short and sweet, alliagtors have wider jaws and are bigger than crocodiles, crocodiles have a ball snout on the end with medium jaw, caimans are alot smaller have thin snouts and have the ball snout as a crocodile but smaller
