my bearded dragon is turning black and she won't eat or move she went to the bathroom but i don't know whats happpening to her help me please.

Check you temps to make sure they're correct. 105-110F for basking spots. Make sure you check with a digital thermometer with probe to ensure they are correct. Sometimes the ones from the pet stores can be as much as 20 degrees off. They will turn darker to attract heat. If the temps are fine, and her underside has black squiggly lines, ovals, or a mixture, that usually indicates stress. Cover up the sides of the enclosure with paper, paper towles, a towel to minimize the stress. When was the last time she ate? How was the stool? Was it runny.real smelly? See a orange/yellow tint to the urates? Anything unusual?

She could be getting ready to shed. Black is also a sign of her being upset. As long as she is drinking, she should be fine. Mine always got upset right before a shed. He would be really black on his chin until it was over and he was more comfortable.

How long has the process taking. shedding only lasts for a day or two and the black skin will feel loose like it will peel if you touch it. Most of the time turning black over a week long process means it was basking too long and got burned. If its been happening for over a week, take her to her vet for a checkup better safe than sorry if you really care for your beardie.
