I have two adult winter white hamsters (females), do they go into heats? what is going into heats means? and how do we know that they are going into heats (appearance etc)?
Answers:when an animal goes into heat, that means they are ready to mate. The only time ANY rodent is not ready to mate is when it's pregnant. As soon as she drops a litter, she will mate again and be pregnant while still nursing her first litter. Thats why we have so many rats in America!
they go into heat every four days and heat means they r ready to mate you will no cause of the sent and there will be a dischare
