Most people, actually are in fact allergic to hedghogs. I'm personally not, but my friends ENTIRE family is. Especially if you get stabbed by the little quills. Gives you hives in some cases.

even tho the hadgrhog has little fur some one could still be allergic to the dandgrif on there skin. some people are just allergic to any kind of aniamal.
There has been cases of people being allergic to hedgehogs. Although they have quills, they also have lots of underbelly hairs and skin flakes off their backs. Unfortunately, only way to tell is after you handle them.
