No. Rabbits have their own classification called lagomorphs.

No, rabbits are not rodents. Although they have their similarities, bunnys belong to the lagamorpha family. This family also contains hares and pikas.

Lagamorphs are different from rodents. Rodents are obnivores, but lagamorphs are herbivores. Look carefully at a bunnys teeth, and you will find that instead of two regular teeth on the top of it's mouth, you will see four long and skinny teeth. This is the same with the other members of the lagamorph family.

It is still ok to ask rabbit questions in the rodent section, though. I do, even though I know they are not rodents, because I usually get more answers than if I asked it in the general pet section.
