I would love to buy one maybe two rats.Are they good animals to have? Do they bite alot? Just any usefull info will be great

um noooo they are very danger ous and it depends on where the rat is comming from. it could bite and cause infections and even rabeys

yea they're ok. except you can hear them in the middle of the night runnin on their wheels and eating and drinking from the water bottlez. also..its a lot of crap when you clean the tank/cage

I dont own rats, I own hamsters but from what i have heard from other rat owners they make amazing pets.

I think rats are misunderstood. I have been told by a very close friend ( he and his wife had 2 male rats) that they are extemely sociable, very intelligant, and are very tame too. So i think its definatly something to consider for a pet. But also buy 2, as they live happier together rather than on their own. Good luck.

No rats do not make good pets...they make GREAT PETS!!

My son had 2 rats for years and I could fill the page with the do's and don'ts but instead I will give you a link to ALL the info you need!!

As far as biting...the ONLY time he EVER got bit was from not washing his hands before he handled them because of food smells on the skin.

The only other thing I can think of is that they WILL chew on electrical cords if they are too near the cage (hey, they chew on everything near the cage LOL).
