Are there supposed to be worms and bugs inside my hamsters food2007-11-24 21:58:08

I bought a bag of hamster food at the pet store this morning. It cost me $3.47. I decided to put the food in a clear clean glass jar. {to occupy less space u know}. This evening, i noticed something crawling on it. I take a closer look and notice that it has ants, bugs and worms in it.

Should i return the food and demand better or my money back

Should i just forget about it and let it slid cuz it was just $3.00

Answers:

Bring the contaminated food back to the store you bought it from. Chances are if your bag was full of creepy-crawlies, the rest of the bags from the same shipment are also contaminated!

It's completely up to you if you want to demand a refund, but please, make sure the store is aware that they have contaminated feed on their shelves so they can pull it immediately.

Your hamster should be fine without food for one day, but you'll have to get him some food right away tomorrow. Whatever you do, do not feed him the contaminated food, as he's likely to get very sick from it, even if he only eats a little.

there shouldnt be bugs in it! go get ur money back! it may be only 3$$ but that could REALLY hurt ur hamster! take it back and if it ate any of the food take the hamster to the vet and make the store pay for the bills!!

Take it back and complain !! Trust me hamster food is NOT suppose to have bugs and ants and most importantly worms in it. Get your money back.

Take the food back their should be no bugs in a hamster's food. It would probably be best to get a refund because you don't know if more of their hamster food would have bugs in them.
