Are tomato sauce and cheese ok for dwarf hamsters

The tomato leaves are ok but not the tomato its self. They are too acidic for thier little bellies and cheese is not part of thier natural diet. A little bit wont hurt them but i wouldn't give it to them all the time.
NO
I dont know for sure but I wouldnt recomend it. My hamsters LOVED carrots, try things like fresh fruits, raisens, & fresh veggies for snacks - doesnt sound like it but they usually love them.
tomato sauce? what the hell!?
dont give them that. give them carrots or peanuts
Unless you want dead hamsters, don't feed them that. My neice fed my hamsters cheese when I was gone and killed them. I was upset because I had them for 3 years. It would be best to feed them regular hamster food. And occasionally carrot's or other veggies are okay too.
tomato sauce contains alot of preservatives. So it is not advisable. Cheese is okay. its good for calcium.
