jw cause i want to get 3 baby piggies from a breeder..but they are female so i am scared so please help

they can get pregnant when they are 5 weeks and older. and you are soooo lucky your mom is letting you get a GP!!!

They can get pregnant as early as 4 weeks.

Consider adopting rather than supporting breeders! There are tons of pigs that need homes urgently! You can even get babies at rescues and shelters!

Guinea pigs can get pregnant from as early as 4 weeks old. Where I live there are no shelters or rescues so I had the choice of a breeder or a pet store. In the end I got one from each!! Buttercup (the one I got from the breeder) was 12wks old when I got her, she was running around with himilayians and her breed (self), some boys and some girls. I had a sneaking suspecion that she may be prego, in which case she would probably be 8 weeks pregnant. I have ruled out any chances now though because she is fat but not fat like a pregnant mum at 8 weeks should be.

They can get pregnant young. We bought one, a young female, who within about 2 weeks had miscarried!

We had no idea she was pregnant or could be, she was a young pig.

Thankfully she's fine now and happy to be away from the pet store who housed her with males.
