is there a way to determine how old your baby piggie is? i need to know lol. shes a baby i know that, but how old?
Answers:If she is a baby, that is really all you need to know. I gave my pig Rodney the same birthday as me. It works well.
Did you get her from a breeder or buy her at a store. Either place should know her 'age' and possibly her 'birthdate' ... you were 'just excited' over getting your new 'baby' and forgot to ask ... don't worry, it happens all the time, so go and ask them just 'how old' your new baby is.
um u can trie to find like a guinea pigg speialist that person could figure it out
Where did you get her from? Chances are that if you got her from a pet store you will never know. Rescues and shelters may have some record on their data base and should be able to give you an approximate answer, breeders should know and will be able to give you an approximate if not exact answer.
Sometimes you can tell from the size whether or not she is younger or older than 6 months, although the breed could determine her how big or small she is (some breeds are bigger than others). The thickness of toe nails and teeth can also help determine an approximate answer, but you would probably have to see a vet as if you are a first time owner I doubt that you will be able to tell (even I find it hard).
Ask a vet.
well if its younger then a year you can determine it by weight. I'm not sure how to though.
