im just wondering, if a mother dies, but there are babies, how do i take care of the babies and i dont have another pregnant female? not that taht happened, i was just thinking about it...

Answers:

Hand raising baby rodents is usually not very sucessful. The best chance is finding another rodent nursing mama. It doesn't even need to necessarily be the same species. I have heard of rat mamas nursing mice, gerbil, hamster, etc. babies. So, a foster mama is number one choice.

If that is not possible then you will need to try hand feeding the babies with an eye dropper and small animal formula (they sell this at the pet shop) or in a pinch kitten formula. Cow's milk will not be adequate.

Always nurse the babies in an upright position or the formula will enter the lungs and asphyxiate them.

You will need to stimulate the babies to help them urinate/defecate.

And of course you will need to keep them warm.

Like I said, hand feeding rodents does not have a very good survival record unfortunately. But, it never hurts to try.

Good luck!

Well you'd probably have to buy some furmula and try and feed them from an eye dropper. nThats what I would think.
Well, I don't know about hamsters, but most animals usually can survive on milk of other animals. I know baby cats can survive on milk from cow just like humans. Even milk can be replaced by other kinds of food, and that's how baby formulas are made.

In summary, it really depends on how healthy the baby is and if the baby is strong and the owner is responsible, he/she would survive.

Think positive my hamster is pregnant to expecting them this week so think postive
hand feed them kmr i wuold put on fuzzy gloves and rub their tummies with a wet warm cotten ball to help digest this should be done for 3-6 weeks
