Baby hamsters to give away help :[2007-11-24 21:58:17

If I get baby hamsters by the mother and dad hamster, can i give them to pet stores like petsmart and petco? will they allow it or not? please give me alot of information thx! :D

Ill rather give it on a pet shop farm(only in Australia)They allow any kind of hamsters but it has to be at leats more than 1 weeks old.

depends on the store most will when the hamsters are a little older, but first ask friends, neighbors, relatives, post an ad in paper etc. your hamsters will breed again unless you seperate them now.

yes most petsmart will take them if they have the room for them and they are in good health...

You can try giving them to family members, pet stores, friends, or putting up signs around the neighborhood. Also try a local paper with an area for selling things. They should allow it though because that's where they get some of their animals from other people. You can always call a local pet store and ask before you bring them down there.

Probably not, I have called before when our hamster had babies and I didn't know what to do with them, just post a flyer at the groc. stores and ask friends if they would want a hamster. Good luck

When my hamsters had 12 babies, the pet store where I got the mother and father hamsters took most of the babies.

Any petstore(other than a shelter) will allow baby hammies. Petco, petsmart anywhere!
