Well i have bought the natural cotten bed fluff for my two gerbils and they love to sleep in it. well, i recently ran out so i used white cotten balls that i tore apart is that okay to use??
Answers:yes or toilet paper or paper towels just not cedar it splinters to easily and hurts them when they chew.
also if you put a few toilet paper rolls in the cage they love to chew them, and they will also nest with what they have chewed off

For nesting are the best unscetened toilet paper/tissues or soft hay.
