Other than that, I would invest in a wheel for your hamster to exercise ^_^

As Hamsters get older there bum becomes incredibly rounded, and then there testicals will drop from their bodys and hang like golf balls. Dont be alarmed when this happens, totally 100% normal and some male hamsters are more well endowned than others. In some cases it can make up a third of a hamsters body weight.

It goes to show your hamster is a male, the butt, may seem to look like a baboon's red backside, but a hamster's one is pinkish. not to worry, its just that he is growing properly, and its probably going through puberty :)

all male hamsters had really big balls/testicles. they eventually stop growing but they do get really big. they can get about the size of the hamsters head. don't get a female next time because of this unless you want to breed them. females aren't as nice as males, but they are still nice and cute. males are a bit nicer though. I've had 6 male hamsters in the past and 1 female. right now i have 2 males and 1 female.
