my pregnant guinea is not eating as much as she is drinking i mean she eats a little but not as much as she used to when she wasnt pregnant is this normal

Well from what you mentioned in a previous thread she could be sick or in labor. I suggest you take her to a vet. You don't want to lose her. Pigs health declines quickly and they mask symptoms of underlying problems. She needs a good exotic vet asap.

My guinea pig Mia drank a lot more than she ate, while she was pregnant. I think they get hotter when they're pregnant. If it really bothers you take her to the vet, but if she is acting normal.

Drinking water is also something they do when they're sick. I'm on the fence really. Give her fresh grass, and see how she reacts.
