Rabits are bad pets. They're not very lovey or intelligent.

The good news is that they usually die in a couple of years, so you can make a better choice next time and get a cat or dog.

No, if it is used to you, its not normal, ive had my bunny for 3 years he jumps out of his cage and hops around me and jump on me until i give him his food, hes so excited, how long have you had him/her? if its not long, he/she needs to get used to you more, try petting him first and maybe giving him a little treat (veggies?) before you put his food in, good luck :)

EDIT-

Maybe hes just not a friendly bunny? i guess its possible

how long have you had him? maybe you dont hold or play with him enough, possibly his cage is to small, it sounds like you dont have a very affectionate bunny! :P good luck
No, it's not normal. one of two or three things is probably happening...

Either, your feeding it the wrong kind of food...there's Alfalfa...that's bad for a rabbit to eat all the time, it makes them extremely hyper and almost to the point of being angry.

OR: you have a dwarf rabbit...that is even worse. For some reason, the Dwarf Rabbits have serious bad attitudes, combined with the alfalfa, you've got a demon on your hands.

OR: Your not feeding it often enough and when you get in there to feed it, it's so hungry that it attacks you.
