My rats is squeaking is it mycoplasma2007-11-24 22:12:59

she has been sick once before when we first got her but before she was sneezing i need help i dont know what to do for her.

p.s. she is still eating and drinking

is your rat in with another rat? if so, that could just be they are trying to rule the cage, and eventually get over it.they will squeak if they dont want to be messed with. I have also rats, and most of mine squeak when they want attention, I would not worry about it too much unless they (it) stops eating or drinking. Good luck, hope this helped alittle

I agree with the other guy, rats are awesome pets. As long as she/he is eating/drinking/mobile & pooping...sneezing is totally normal for rats to do quite frequently. My rattie squeaked too, when she got happy and was petted. Does it sound like a "i'm in pain" squeak or I want attention? Is she getting around good?

When my two ratties were doing the whole "king of the cage" bit, they squeaked a lot. Now, though, the only time they squeak is when they're "talking" to me when I feed them. If your rat is eating, drinking, and deficating just find, I wouldn't be too worried.
