My son is 10 years old, he is home alone, he just called and said he saw a roach in the house2007-11-24 22:13:05

I told him to take a shoes and hit him, he said he doesnt like the roach, so he is afraid, what should I tell him to do?

Answers:

Tell him that he has to be brave, and that he is the man of the house and all the macho stuff that makes little boys tough. More than likely he's making a big deal of this because he wants you to come home. You have to make him understand that it's not an option. So he has a choice, sit there and be scared all day or kill the roach and get on with his day.

well a shoe isn't going to kill a roach. Trap it under something like a glass you don't use and kill it with spray and a hammer or something heavy when you get home.

Why dont you call someone you trust to go over there and kill the roach? Also, you shouldnt leave that boy alone in the house. Get a baby sitter!
