My two male dwarf hamsters have a strange sleeping schedule
My hamsters usually sleep for one whole day (24 hours) and are very active and hyper the next. they have been following this pattern for the past week. is this normal or do i have something to worry about? can i give my hamsters wool to play with or is it dangerous? thank you
Answers:no wool if they ate it it could be hard to poop out and cause diharea which is deadly to hamsters, as for the sleeping problem its normal, my hamster sleeps like a human. as long as it gets sleep and has time to play, if you notice your hamsters pattern changing don't be alarmed unless its like abnormal like awake 24/7. The normal pattern should be awake at ngith but most hamster learn to live when you live like mine does so the pattern could change more than once until your furry little friend finds one that he likes. If your hamster keeps chewing on wool it could be harmful so i would stop, good luck!
feed them with lots of fruits like apple, banana, watermelon... and you should buy a weal.. however you don't have to be worried some hamsters are just lazy
