Here's the thing to bear in mind - rodents, i.e. hamsters, mice, guinea pigs, all live, sleep, eat, and drink in the same place they poop and pee. They're not smelly animals, but they WILL be if you don't keep their environment clean. They actually groom themselves, too. You'll want a spacious cage so there's room to run around and plenty of ventilation.

I have four guinea pigs in one cage and they don't stink at all.

Guinea Pigs do not stink if you take care of them correctly. I recommend a Guinea pig, they are clean, playful, and very affectionate. :-)
