Tink, this question really doesn't belong in the "Pets" category, because you aren't asking about pet mice or a pet cockroach, but rather about pests that carry disease and cause destruction.
You should call a exterminator and clear the unwelcome wildlife out of this condo that you like so well.
Ask the Landlord/Owner to have the condo treated by a pest control company. You have to give them the right to remedy the situation and what you are mentioning is not an infestation.
If you get no response after verbally requesting the treatment, put the request in writing and send it certified mail to the Landlord/Owner.
ewww! i would hire an extermanator to come quarterly. do you own the condo? i fnot that might be the owners job to get rid of the bugs
Ask you landlord to have the complex exterminated. If you have bought it, you're on your own. You'll have to pay for and exterminator.
Roaches and rodents (i.e. mice, rats, etc.) can infest the nicest of properties. I lived in NYC for years, and I've lived with both pests in several different apartments, ranging from old, tenement style to recently renovated and very nice.
