OK, I just wrote a 2 page essay, and my dad read it and2007-11-24 22:14:02

we are going to a pet store to get food for my fish in like an hour. I asked him if I can at least look at them, and he said there really is no reason why I can't. So I will look at the ones for sale, show them to my dad, and look at the price. I just might be able to get one!! Do you know any ways to start out? i mean like when I get there what do I do? how do I make it seem like I am a responable person?(i am)?

I have answered your previous questions, and I am so happy for you!! I am in the same problem, sorta. Any way, You can keep your room clean and tidy for a long long time. It's not hard. you can also try to take more resposiblity with the pets that you already have. When dad says " I am going to take the dogs for a walk", you volunteer, and do it regularly.

Do the chores that you already do ( I do chores, who else does?) better than usual.

K, so you're getting a rat?

When you get there, if someone comes up and asks you if you need help or is monitering while you hold them, ask the person that works there a TON of good questions, like "how long do they live" "How do you keep them socialized" "what do you feed them and how often" "are boy rats better than girl rats and why" " do they need toys or treats" "can you train them to do stuff?"
