OK so I might get a new guinea pig soon2007-11-24 22:14:00

OK here's MY BIGGEST PROBLEMS:

1.I read an article that the ball things that pets get into can really hurt my new guinea pig's spine, but I really want to use the ball and I don't know if the site was accurate! What should I do?

2.I don't know what size my cage should be! I saw one person's cage before on the internet and IT WAS HUGE!

3.I'm afraid I might get a guinea pig that bites and hisses all the time and that could make it harder for me to interact with it.

4.I DO NOT WANT TO SPEND TOO MUCH MONEY!

So?Any suggestions?I really need help!

1.Balls are abd for them and they nromally wont use them.

3.Most don't hiss and bite they aren't cats

4.Making a C&C cage will cost you about 40 dollars for a 2x3 cage.Which is much bigger than a pet store cage for the same price.And the guinea pig will be about 15-35 dollars depending if you buy or adopt.

Do some research and know the basics before you get a guiena pig.

Make sure you get a big enough ball for your pig, it needs a huge cage, Guinea pigs are huge!]

If you don't have $ to spend on a pet then you can't be a responsible owner.
