Only one piggy

Only one piggy2007-11-24 22:13:23

I bought my piggy at 7 week old. she was housed with her two sisters. i only have one and a not allowed another, she seems to be doing great is this ok ?

Answers:

If she's active, eating & drinking well, it sounds like she's doing fine.

Although you can't get another right now, please consider adopting her a same sex friend when you can. They really *need* that interaction from another piggy.

Good luck!

don't worry, she's ok. i have only one boy and he doesn't have any problems because he gets a lot of attention from me and my family members.
yea it's ok
she is fine.do not worry. if she has human company and is always indooprs and is doing great then shes fine.
As long as she has lots of human contact and time out of the cage to exercise than she should be fine. If she starts to get depressed though she'll need a same sex cagemate.
It is ok, not the most preffered way of housing guinea pigs obviously because they are better in pairs. She is indoors so she does have human contact which is good. As long as she continues to eat, sleep, play and doesn't seem depressed then I would not be too worried. Read the following site, it is very informative in regards to how many guinea pigs you should or shouldn't have:

Good Luck!!
