Original Milk Bone Dog biscuits for hamsters
Hi i read that dog biscuits are good for hamsters, but the unflavored kind. I bought a box of the original milk bone dog biscuits for small dogs. Is that a safe kind?
Answers:Yes, Milk Bones are perfectly fine, you just don't want to give them a whole bone, cut it into peices and use it as a treat.they are actually very good for them. They are much healtheir than the store bought small animal treats...and you do not have to get the original flavored ones, you can get all the different flavors, it's fine for them...
As for meat...you can give them very small amounts of meat, you just want to stay away from beef and make sure it's fully cooked...Chicken is reccomended if you want to give them meat...
I hope this helps...GOOD LUCK!!
umm. check wit a vet first, i never heard of tht
Basically, you want to avoid meat.
Read the ingredients. I'm pretty sure that one only has grain.
They're actually better for hamsters than they are for dogs.
i wuld never feed my hamster that. but ask a vet or something b4 u do just to make sure
i have NEVER heard of giving rodents dog biscuits. what is this for? you can give them fresh fruit/vegetables you can give them cheerios as a treat. you can actually give them alot of people food, it will make them fat though - is why they dont recommend to much of it.
My Syrian hamster LOVES her weekly milkbone! I have the kind with 5 flavors(peanut butter, chicken... err... and more) for small dogs. She gets half a milkbone every Friday night when I get off work.
