PLEASE HELP when should and what should i2007-11-24 22:14:13

ok i want a hamster. i dont no when i should present my report about hamsters and when to ask. and when i do ask, what should i say?!?!? i am normally good at this but im scared!! if she says no....when i ask she normally gets mad. her cousin just died so shes a tad upset. i wanna do it when my dad isnt around cuz he gets mad! but if my mom nos first then she can talk to my dad and get him 2 reason. I wanna ask now...this is my last chance until next friday!! cuz my dad works 2night (hes a cop) and i am going to be gonne next week till friday - my dad doesnt work fri. sat. or sun this week. PLEASE HELP!

Ok!! Calm down! I may be young but that doesn't mean I can't answer questions! So your dad isn't home! Check that off your list! He's gone no worry!! I would go up to your mom and say mom can we talk? She'll probably say ok honey what's going on. Then say I want a hamster and I didn't know how to tell you but I think I have been responsible lately. I know we are going to be gone next week. I was thinking about getting it when we come back! It would be my responsibility to clean the cage and feed it! I promise on my life I will take care of it. Just I might need you to help with the cost of the hamster and food supplies and cage at first but I think I can take it from there. Mom, I think this would give me a chance to show you I can be responsble for my own stuff and take care of my things (in this case the hamster). And I will leave it up to you from here. I just wanted to let you know my feelings and I know if I went right up to dad and say whatI just did he'd probbaly say no. Thanks for letting me talk mom! It meant alot to get this out and talk to you!
