does any body know if rex rabbits eventually get the floppy ears that hang down ( i love my rabbit right now but he would look waaaaaaaay cuter if he had hangy ears)

No, James. There are specific breeds that have "lopped ears". Which is what it's called. There is a new variety out there that's called the Velveteen Lop, which is a cross between a standard Rex and an English Lop. No Rex don't ever get floppy ears. Either do Mini Rex I had one for 6 years and she just died last year. If you want a floppy eared bunny then the most popular kind to get would be a lop or more likely is a mini lop! They also have dwarf lops! There so cute cause there tiny!

No. Haha, not gonna happen. But right now they are working on a breed called the Velveteen Lop. Its basically the same coat as a Rex, but floppy ears like the English Lop. You can probablly look it up on Google. Its not a recognized breed yet, but i know that some breeders are breeding them now. But in my own opinion, I dont think they are that cute. They would be waaaay cuter if they crossed a Rex with a Holland Lop. English Lops arent cute in the first place.
