Pet hampster tips
i need the best tip on how to care for a hamster. just in case fyi the temperature in my home is about70-80`f
Answers:good temp, just clean the cage weekly, water daily, food 2 tablespoons daily dump out the old unused, snacks like fresh fruit, some veggies, see what it likes, no leafy greens, no onions, no salty stuff. they love piecec of hard boiled egg, dog biscuits, raw ground meat, (small piece).. and yogurt drops sold at petstores. and get it an exercise ball to run in on the floor at night. as they mostly sleep all day, with some exceptions, mine wake up for a short period each day. and if your lid pops off the exercise ball. just put a small piece of scotch tape to hold it, mine don't pop off, but sometimes as they get old, the balls lid does get looser with use. and what they bump into is no big deal, I've been using them on all 3 of my hamsters.
i have mine in a cage and i take him out once in awhile and they live in whatever temp you can live in.
That temperature sounds good. Just keep an eye on the hamster to make sure that they don't overheat or anything.
