my parents dont like to spend money, so do you think that a rabbit could fit in a ten gallon tank if its the smallest type of rabbit? theyy wont let me get another pet other than hamsters unless i can reuse the tank that i used for my previous hamsters.

Answers:

No!! rabbits need more room than a tank = the fact that the rabbit will get too hot. A rabbit hutch is for rabbits or a rabbit cage` or even a modified cupboard not a tank. You need to have a lot of time for a rabbit especially if your gonna keep it in the tank, they need lots of room to play about and stretch their legs. Also take into consideration the bedding, hay and food and water bowls, this won't leave alot of room in the tank (even a ten gallon one)

If you seriously want a rabbit then please get it a proper home

yea get a polish bunny there small
I have a rabbit... They are easy to take care of, but we let ours run around the house, but it stays in his cage at night
Hi sweety, I have a paragraph here from page 28 of "The Rabbit Handbook" written by Karen Gendron. (paragraph below, first link gives more info on the book)

"Ventilation in a Rabbit House"

"Air movement through your rabbit's house is critical to get rid of gases, moisture, dust, and heat. Rabbits give off a significant amount of heat and moisture that must be removed from the house. There is also ammonia in rabbit unie that will irritate your rabbit's eyes and air-ways if it is not removed, predisposing him to an outbreak of respiratory illness such as Pasteurellosis."
