Pet white mice questions
ok
i have a really old hamster named taco
^.^
and i dont think he will live more than another year so i have been thinking about what rodent i should get after his passing
(even tho i will miss him dearly T.T)
and i have decided on mice
(PLEASE NO RAT SUGGESTIONS because i would love to get one by my mom might have a heart attack over it XD)
well i have some questions about the mice:
1,if i get two(or more) feamle mice, if one is pregant do i have to separate it from the others?
2.what if two of them were pregant? would they fight?
3.do they generally make good pets?
4,what the heck do i feed them??? everywhere i look i cant find the answer >_<
5.if my cat ever decided to get ontop of the aquarium they are in and glare, would the mice hace heart attacks?(she does that to my ham sometimes but he doesnt mind , and if its a problem i can stop it)
6.if i somehow accidentally had many mice would they become wild because of how many there are?
7.generally do mice bite?
Answers:i had pet mice, they reproduce rapidly and get violent , well mine did. it helped to separate males and females, thats pretty easy though, the difference is obvious.
i cant help you but it was fun when i was a kid
I don't suggest mice at all for pets.why?
1. they smell terrible...
2. You will definitely have to separate any females if one has babies, they are ferocious little guys and will fight and eat their young.
